POS Technical Support – TransferNow
As a POS Technical Support Specialist at TransferNow, I am responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and seamless operation of Point of Sale (POS) systems across our service network. My role encompasses:
- Install, configure, and maintain POS systems, card readers, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform system updates, security patches, and firmware upgrades.
- Troubleshoot payment gateway connectivity problems.
- Ensure data security, backups, and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide user training and support to store staff and managers.
- Manage support tickets via Jira, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with vendors and IT teams for system upgrades and deployments.
