POS Technical Support – TransferNow
As a POS Technical Support Specialist at TransferNow, I am responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and seamless operation of Point of Sale (POS) systems across our service network. My role encompasses:
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with POS terminals, software, and peripheral devices to ensure minimal downtime and smooth transactions.
- Configuration and Installation: Setting up and configuring POS hardware and software, updating firmware, and managing software installations to maintain system security and operational readiness.
- Customer and End-User Training: Providing hands-on support and guidance to end-users, assisting them with system navigation, and ensuring they are comfortable and effective in using the POS solutions.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conducting regular system checks and updates, including backups and security patches, to prevent technical issues and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Working closely with IT, finance, and other departments to address POS requirements, implement updates, and coordinate issue resolution across teams.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of technical issues, resolutions, and system changes for continuous improvement and compliance purposes.
