POS Technical Support  – TransferNow

As a POS Technical Support Specialist at TransferNow, I am responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and seamless operation of Point of Sale (POS) systems across our service network. My role encompasses:

  • Install, configure, and maintain POS systems, card readers, and peripherals.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform system updates, security patches, and firmware upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot  payment gateway connectivity problems.
  • Ensure data security, backups, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide user training and support to store staff and managers.
  • Manage support tickets via Jira, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with vendors and IT teams for system upgrades and deployments.

In this role, I apply my technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer support experience to ensure that our POS systems operate smoothly, fostering a reliable experience for TransferNow’s clients and partners.
